I am the author of “Cultivating Cannabis Consistently: A Hydroponic How To” and “Destroy Your Life: U.S. Marijuana Law.” I began to take an interest in hydroponic marijuana a long time ago in college Botany. Over the years I have become an authority on all aspects of marijuana cultivation “growing weed”. Though I have read many great books on cultivation I have found many to be little more than unorganized accounts of a novice cultivators plight. The books which were educational were not specifically designed for hydroponics, and the ones that were-were not as comprehensive as I would have liked. And I have read every book which attempts to tackle “growing weed”. Therefore, I was ecstatic when a number of medical marijuana researchers asked me to write a complete hydroponic cannabis textbook. It became known, in research circles, as The Hydroponic Bible!

At the heart of cannabis cultivation is the cutting-edge growth technique known as Hydroponics. Hydroponics is, simply put, growing plants without soil. The discovery was made years ago that it was not the actual soil that marijuana plants needed in order to grow, but instead they needed the mineral nutrients contained in the soil.
Basically hydroponics is just another way of providing all the nutrients needed by a plant. These nutrients are supplied to the plant in a liquid solution that is absorbed by the roots.
